I haven’t posted much lately for three primary reasons: first, I’ve been unable to mooch a wireless connection off my neighbors, so my internet has pretty much stopped working; second, my workload for the semester has reached a critical mass; and third, baseball season has started.
I also have a severe cold, perhaps the beginnings of a sinus infection. But here’s a quick update:
The first draft of my seminar paper is due one week from tomorrow. I currently have about 11 pages written, which means that I need to write 14 more in the next week. I also have another paper due this coming Monday. I registered to try out for an over-18 baseball league this summer, but I’m not sure I’ll actually do it. The tryout is Sunday, and although I would love to play, it might limit my ability to do some things I want to do (time-wise) and it’s going to cost me $300. Without a job lined up for the summer, that’s a bit frightening. I’m looking for a summer job, albeit not very hard. That needs to change. Maybe after this seminar paper is roughed out.
Really, that’s my life in a nutshell right now. Despite the fact that I rarely leave my apartment, it’s extremely busy.
